"Here's Love" Christmas Show Performance

After weeks and weeks of singing, dancing, and memorizing lines, we all had a big payoff on opening night Friday! Our biggest four kids are in the ensemble (and even have a few lines!) for "Here's Love", the musical version of the Christmas favorite "Miracle on 34th Street", and Catherine is part of the Production Staff (costuming and some music)! For those of you who live close by, you can catch our 3rd or 4th shows this Friday or Saturday at the Bel Air Armory. Everyone else who lives too far away (boo-hoo), these videos are for you! Enjoy!

Opening Scene, Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade
Kamberlynne plays the clown, and the three boys are singing and dancing in the front row. Jonah in a red and black jacket, Christian in a green sweater and black jacket (the kid who takes the Captain's hat), and Indy in a tan sweater and hat (sings the line "hey what the dickens can that be"! You can't miss them...they are the cutest ones!

Macy's Store, Kamberlynne is a new clerk in training, near the middle, turquoise skirt
Indy is the first kid sitting on Santa's lap

Title Number, "Here's Love" all four kids have little spots

Court Room, Jonah plays Tommy, the DA's son (My personal favorite scene!)

Finale, all four are in there again!

Now if you actually made it through all of those videos, you must be Nana! If you didn't, we love you anyways, and you can catch us on Broadway in the future! It sure was a fun way to kick off the Christmas season!

Of course Nana made it through all of those!!!!!! And even Grandpa, too. Our sadness is that our computer doesn't have sound working so we missed the audio! Oh, well. Maybe you can send the real thing and we'll have it in our video collection along with the Joyce's Christmas concerts! You guys are all beautiful!!!!!!!

Yea Washburn kids!!! That was super fun to see. Fortunately, my computer has sound, so I was able to hear your fantastic voices. How I wish I could hear them for real though!

And don't worry, I'll fix Nana's computer so she can hear it too. Great job everyone! Love you lots!

Once again my sister astounds me and it's not hard to understand that the kids can do the same! What a great great idea! I think there are a few of my kids that would love doing something like that but I still haven't been able to figure out how to make it all happen! You all did so good. Amazing amazing. The only problem was that instead of catching up on my own blog I got caught up in the cuteness and watched every single second! Oh well. There is always my frequent friend "midnight"!

We agree, they definetely are the cutest ones! We were just commenting recently how one of things we'll really miss this Christmas holiday is hearing the Washburn's sing!! So how great it is with this modern technology we have that we can still get treated with your talent! Thanks so much for sharing and Catherine I hope you've recovered from all that work and preperation that must of gone into this awesome performance.

well I'm not nana and I made it all the way through. I'm a former missionary who served in winters run, and just love the washburns. These videos were really great. My favorite one was with Jonah in the court room setting. You kids all did a great job though. wish I could have been there to see the whole thing. Hope you all had a great Christmas, and have a good new year.
