So I always donate 6 or so inches to Locks of Love, a wonderful charity that makes wigs for cancer patients. And todays lady said...."Oh, you have plenty of hair, it will still be long after you donate....". Perhaps I should have clarified. I want it long after YOU cut it.
SO DOES THIS LOOK LONG TO YOU!?!?!????
ME, NEITHER! AAAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!
I've ALWAYS had long hair...that is since the last time I cut it short on purpose when I was in the 10th grade. Not posting that picture. And you know how when you have your first baby so many momma's go for short hair. Not me. Why? No big reason...I just like long hair. Long, beautiful, curly, Anne of Green Gables hair. It goes with my "Little House on the Prairie" persona. And now I can't even braid it. You know, in years past, I have cried over hair cuts that were a good 4 inches longer than this one. I guess this is just the "new mommy look" I never had. You'll just have to ignore the gray. Thanks for the therapy.

Oh my word Catherine! I honestly think it is beautiful!!!!!!!!!! I don't know if I've ever seen you with a styled haircut. I know you "style" your hair and you truly are just a beautiful person but this looks really really really GREAT!! Even with the gray (that i can't see). I love it!
It's so cute, don't be sad! It WILL grow back!
Wow! You look beautiful with that haircut! *But* I'm with you all the way, I just LOVE long hair tho I have never had the privelege on my head. My hair genetically does not grow in length (just grows sideways!). How wonderful that you donated your beautiful hair!
You look MAH-VUH-LUS! It grows back and it will look great for even longer now!
wow, I know you are sad but I absolutly LOVE it!!!! It looks so good on you! You look like one hot mamma =)
I second what everyone else has said--it looks really good on you! So you can be grateful for that!
I had the same problem after donating my hair. I should have had lots left, but then...I didn't. And then my haircut was awful so I had to cut off another inch when I got home. Now we can grow out our hair together!
Okay Catherine, I just have to say it, even though I know you hate it, I absolutely LOVE it! I can't remember that last hair cut...that's how long it's been, but I really like this one of yours.
Even though my hair is short (unfortunately a TX necessity), I feel your pain in the cut. One of my facorite things about moving to WA is that I won't ever have to cut my hair short again!
But honestly, that style and cut is A-MAZ-ING!!!!!!! So love it-and you too!
Catherine
I think you are beautiful regardless of your hair. I know how hard it is to not have a haircut turn out the way you want though too. Been there. One thing I have learned about hair is that it usually grows back. :)
I am trying to grow my hair for Locks of Love too. I have never had long hair and it is now getting pretty long. I like it. I am not sure how long I want it to get before I cut it. hmmm. I would prefer to have it to my shoulders when I cut it off so I still have some growing to do. ;) I am sure you will grow into loving your hair. You are always so beautiful! Honestly when I glanced at the first pic on your blog I thought it was Kamberlynne. Love ya
Just try to believe me this time-----it's GREAT, GREAT, GREAT!!!! In fact, my choice would have been to cut the bangs so we would be able to see your beautiful "windows to your soul"! Mom votes to keep it forever!!!
I LOVE IT!!! So Cute! LOVE, IT!!! I see no gray by the way and I love the sylin' cut!
Catherine, I really like your new cut, but I can sympathize with you. When I donated 10" of my hair in high school I cried over the loss. Now, I'm growing my hair out again to donate.
Wooow!! I remember when I cut your hair once (let me emphasize once)& you cried. As you would say, "Big Blessings for you." You are always beautiful and it's always fun to change it up once in awhile. It will grow back. Enjoy it and have fun. I love it!!
